The Wonderful World of Tim Tebow

We’ve added some new Tebow and Gator Gear. You can check it out here or on the specific Gear page. All the items are purchased and shipped through Amazon, so you know you’re getting them from a legit company.

I just wanted to pose this question to see if we can get a few comments. I want to know how the general public, and Tebow fans who visit this website, feel about how Timmy reacts after a Gator loss. We all know that Tebow gets very emotional after a loss, he sometimes even sheds a few tears. How do you feel about this?

Do you think crying after a loss is a sign of weakness? Or do you feel that its awesome that Tebow shows emotion. It makes it seem like he really cares about this team.

Feel free to leave a comment and let me know.

The Gators lost their 3rd game in the last 4 played yesterday. The Georgia Bulldogs came out with a lot of energy and passion. They wanted to win this game more then the Gators. Even Tebow himself couldn’t save us. Perhaps if they put him on the defensive line we would have had a chance? Georgia ran through the Gators like a wet paper bag. It was pathetic.

Tebow ended the game 14 of 22 for 236 passing yards and 1 touchdown. He also ran the ball 13 times for -15 yards (misleading because college football counts sack yardage against the QBs rushing stats) and 2 rushing touchdowns. Tebow took a pounding on several players and there are rumors flying around the message boards that he may be injured more then we think.

Tebow’s average passing performance probably knocked him out of the Heisman running. He may still have an outside shot if he completely lights it up the rest of the way.

Like Superman has any fears, right? Fans and media speculate that Tebow might be worried about how his shoulder will hold up. Will he be able to play a full game or take hits? Why don’t you let Superman himself tell you how it is.

“If they come after my shoulder, then I guess they will not be hitting me straight up and I will have a very good chance of breaking that tackle,” Tebow said. “I’m not too worried about it.”

That sounds like an invitation for Georgia defensive players to come and get him. Tebow would be more the happy to take on a defense that doesn’t hit him square. And then Tebow will stiff arm him and run him over on his way to a 15 yard gain.

“I don’t think you can worry about it or think, ‘I’m taking too many hits or I need to get down or something,’ ” Tebow said. “When you play like that, then you have a much greater chance of getting hurt or getting injured when you’re thinking about it and not going out there and playing the way you know how to play.

“I’m just trying to get first downs and put points on the board.”

Amen Tebow. Good Luck (like you need it) tomorrow against the Dawgs.

The Georgia Bulldogs will be keying in on stopping Tebow. They know that the only way to beat the Gators is to stop Tim Tebow. Too bad for them, stopping Tebow is about as easy as stopping a stopping an 18 wheeler going 100 mph.

Tebow has experience playing in big games, and he in fact, saw playing time last year against UGA. Tebow should have no problem handling the Dawgs this weekend.

A dinged up Tebow will have to run the ball, and pass the ball with efficiencies for the Gators to win. Meyer might hold Tebow back when it comes to rushing, so he doesn’t further injure himself. But if we know Tebow, then we know there’s no holding back in his game. He’ll likely drop a shoulder and crush someone.

I look for Tebow to end the game victorious. He should get 300 yards passing, 60 yards rushing and 4 total touchdowns.

The Florida Gators are 9 point favorites against the Georgia Bulldogs this week in Jacksonville. Tebow is especially jacked up to play this game, as it’s always been one of his favorites. Growing up in Jacksonville, Tebow had the opportunity to go to several Florida vs. Georgia games as a kid. It’s a special game for him, which means we’ll likely get a special performance. Probably a few linebacker truckings…

Georgia has lost eight of its last nine games and 15 of its last 17 games played in Jax. Richt is pissed, and wants the games played in the teams own stadiums. I think that’s bogus. You don’t F with 100 year old traditions. GA is just wetting themselves at the mere site of Tebow, and I would be too if I were them.

I’ll have a full game preview tomorrow, so be sure to check back.

The ESPN and the CBS Sports dot com guys have put our favorite Gator, Timmy Tebow, as the current Heisman front runner. Andre Woodson is in second place in the CBS poll, and Matt Ryan is in second place in the ESPN poll. You can view the CBS Heisman watch here and the ESPN Heisman watch here.

The only thing we have to worry about is if a sophomore will win the Heisman. It’s never happened before, so it would take a very special season for it to happen again. Also, if the Gators were to lose another game, it might seriously push Tebow out of contention.

In a game that many were saying would feature the top two Heisman candidates, Tebow was victorious. While his passing stats may not have been as high as Woodson’s 400+, they were still awesome, especially when you compliment them with the rushing stats. Tebow was 18 of 26 for 256 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also had 20 rushes for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Tebow did bang up his elbow during the game, but luckily its his non-throwing elbow. He’ll be limited this week in practice, but should be OK for game time on Saturday.

During the game, a stat popped up that said Tebow accounts for like 76-80% of the Gators offense. If that doesn’t scream Heisman, then I don’t know what does. But the important thing is that the Gators got back on the winning track and are in the driver’s seat in the SEC East.

If the Gators win out and beat LSU in the SEC Championship game, they may even have a freakish chance of making the National Championship game again.

Last year, Tim Tebow ran for 73 yards vs. Kentucky on only 6 carries. This year I would look for a lot more yards and quite a few more carries.

Tebow is going to pound the Kentucky Wildcats like he pounded Ole Miss. The last two games everyone was screaming for Tebow to throw the ball more. And while he has been extremely accurate, it seems the Gators play better when they establish the run game with Tebow.

Look for Tebow to carry the ball at least 15 times and finish the game with 100 rushing yards. But that doesn’t mean he won’t be throwing the ball either. I predict Tebow to also toss 200-250 in the air. Kentucky did beat LSU, but their defense is soft. And let’s face it, they’re due for a let down. UK has been riding high this year and it’s about to all come crashing down like a D-Lineman getting a Tebow forearm to the face.

A battle of SEC titans! Our very own Timmy Tebow will face off against fellow Heisman hopeful Andre Woodson in what could be a game featuring the best two quarterbacks in the nation.

Woodson has more yards and more touchdowns then Tebow, but Tebow has a better completion percentage and a higher QB rating.  But Woodson also has nearly double the passing attempts, so of course he’ll have more yards.

The entire nation will be watching this matchup of college greats.
