In a game that many were saying would feature the top two Heisman candidates, Tebow was victorious. While his passing stats may not have been as high as Woodson’s 400+, they were still awesome, especially when you compliment them with the rushing stats. Tebow was 18 of 26 for 256 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also had 20 rushes for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Tebow did bang up his elbow during the game, but luckily its his non-throwing elbow. He’ll be limited this week in practice, but should be OK for game time on Saturday.

During the game, a stat popped up that said Tebow accounts for like 76-80% of the Gators offense. If that doesn’t scream Heisman, then I don’t know what does. But the important thing is that the Gators got back on the winning track and are in the driver’s seat in the SEC East.

If the Gators win out and beat LSU in the SEC Championship game, they may even have a freakish chance of making the National Championship game again.
