A lot of people visit this Tim Tebow website because we not only provide you with stats, pictures, videos and other fan materials, but we also post almost everyday about Tim Tebow and the stories around him. Over the past two months, we’ve shared several inspirational stories from fans who are inspired by Timmy on a daily basis. Today we share another one.
My sister and I are homeschoolers and Gator fans (of course!). My sister is twelve years old and a sweet little thing. She looks up to Tim so much! She says she wants to live on a farm when she grows up, and she also went out and bought her own football not too long ago! Fortunately, she hasn’t resolved to join the Gator football team (but I wouldn’t put it past her)!
She constantly seeks to do what is right no matter what and, often, gives herself and me “pep talks” reminding us that we aren’t the only ones trying to do what is right… Tim Tebow is too!
I really appreciate his character and integrity. -It’s so encouraging! And I am thankful my little sister can see someone who isn’t letting the fame and glory go to his head. Instead, he’s using it to influence others to do what’s right. - And it’s obviously working!
Thanks, Tim!

Matt Hayes of the Sporting News is reporting that Tim Tebow is working on his 2-minute drill. You may recall that the Gators lost a couple of games last year in the last few minutes (Auburn and LSU). With Tim Tebow being dedicated to improving his 2-minute drill, the Gators will stand a better chance at finishing games and coming home with the victory.
From Matt Hayes’ article…
“Tebow’s passer rating in the first quarter last season was an unthinkable 219.72 (Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford was the overall leader at 176.50) but plummeted to 126.24 in the fourth. The plan for the 2-minute drill this fall: run less, be patient and have confidence in the short and intermediate passing games.”
Now, a QB rating of 126.24 is actually very good. But when we’re talking about Superman Tim Tebow, we’d like to see it hover around 170+. That’s just what we’ve come to expect from him.

I’ve heard a rumor that the Spring Orange and Blue Gator game on April 12 will actually be televised on ESPN. This means that all you Tim Tebow fans outside of Gainesville will actually get to see him play some. Tebow will definitely have a red jersey on, because they don’t want to risk seeing him get injured, but that doesn’t mean he’ll play weak. Tebow will line it up and launch em down field.
I’ve also heard that Urban Meyer is making an event out of the Spring Practice game and that he will hold 40 yard dash contests between players and even have students on campus compete to see if they can run faster than the players. It should be in an interesting day!

College football has been over for 2 months now, but the awards for Tim Tebow just keep rolling in. Tim Tebow is one of 11 finalists for the AAU James Sullivan Memorial Award, presented to the nation’s top amateur athlete.
Fans are supposed to be able to vote on sports.usatoday.com, however I’ve been on that page several times and can’t find the poll. Maybe I’m just missing it. If any of you can find it, please post a comment here and let us know. The fan votes count one-third toward the final tally. Voting ends March 10; the winner will be announced April 1.
Past football champions include Peyton Manning and Charlie Ward. But going back 70 years, there have not been many football players to win the Sullivan Award. So we need to be sure to rally the vote. Tell your friends and family to go vote for Tim Tebow.
