Coming off a National Championship in 2006 and a Heisman in 2007… if Tim Tebow comes up short of either one of those in 2008 would you be upset with him? Most Tim Tebow fans, like the readers here, would never think of such things. Tim Tebow can do no wrong in our eyes and I would never say he let us down, even if the Gators don’t win a National Championship this season. But there are some casual fans out there that do feel like players let them down.
Do you think it could happen this year? Can Tim Tebow live up to the hype? Can he repeat hsi record breaking performances from the past two years?
Since Timmy was in high school, he has been the most hyped player in the nation. I remember on National Signing Day, his signing garnered nation attention from ESPN and other major media outlets. He was a big deal. Tim came to UF with a cult following. No one believed he could live up to the hype as a freshman. But you know what… he did. Coming into 2007 it was the same thing. Tebowmania was in full-swing. Media experts said there’s no way he could live up to it. But you know what… he did.
So here we are on the cusp of the 2008 football season and people are already wondering if Tim Tebow can do it again or will he let us down. What they don’t get is that Tebow will never let us down. Even if he threw 50 interceptions, he will still be Tim Tebow and we will still love him.

1st, I think we have a good enough team this year to win the NC. 2nd, I agree. The real gator fans, like myself, will always love Tebow even if he fails. 3rd, I think he can live up to the hype. He’s already shown that he can. 4th, According to Urban Meyer, Tebow has improved since last season, so I think he can repeat, maybe even surpass last years performance.
he has let us down in the past but that doesn’t matter and it shouldn’t. If your a fan then you should support your team whether you win or not and I never thought any less of the guy when we lost. He is still my favorite football player and I look up to the guy. He isn’t perfect but he sure does do things and live his life in a way that makes him look that way.
We have a huge chance of getting in a bcs or even the national championship game so I don’t think he will let us down. The only way he might let us down is if he doesn’t have superhuman stats again this year but even if he doesn’t, thats just a thing that his haters are going to pick on and shouldn’t bother his fans at all.
hey guys, sorry its been awhile since ive been on here, just lyk mrs.tebow says all of us will not b disappointed in him, he does everything to keep us happy and content, he will do his best as he said in his speech when i met him, cause hes amazing and he loves us all, and we all love him just as much! and plus, he loves to succeed in everthing he does, dats y he gets better adn better every season/game/pregames/practices! love ya Timmy!
