Tim Tebow Sugar Bowl Press Conference

The Florida Gators arrived in New Orleans two days ago in preparation of their Sugar Bowl matchup against the Cincinnati Bearcats. In what was supposed to be a mild press conference with Urban Meyer turned into a media frenzy with Meyer’s ‘leave of absence’ weekend announcement.

Quarterback Tim Tebow and senior linebacker Ryan Stamper were invited by Meyer to join the press conference – maybe to help take a load off Meyer’s back and to answer questions about how the team handled the situation. Tim has openly expressed how much he cares for Urban Meyer and his well being. Since Tim first stepped foot on this campus Meyer has been a father figure to him and all the Gator players.
