Do You Want To Run TebowZone?

This is just an informal post, checking to see if any of you fans out there have any interest in taking over TebowZone.com? I love this site and have been running it for 4 years. But a lot has changed in those 4 years – I’m married now and have have a 5 month old son to look after. I don’t have as much time now as I used to and feel like I’m not offering the same quality of posts as I have in the past.

So just wanted to see if any of our readers want to take over. There’s a lot of details we’d need to discuss, so please email me if interested.

If I can’t find the right fit, no worries. I’m going to continue to run this site for as long as Tebow is playing football. I’m not going to quit, stop posting or shut the site down. Just wanted to see if there might be someone out there who can do a better job.

TebowZone.com Redesign – Coming Soon

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are currently working on a redesign of the site — that will make it much cleaner and user friendly. The site seems very busy right now, and that might be steering people away. One of the new features I’m looking forward to is the threaded comments.

If you have anything you’d like to see in the redesign, or any added features please let me know.

Tebow Zone on Social Sites

Tebow Zone is moving into the 21st century! Hoorrayyy!

The other day we launched a new way to subscribe to Tebow Zone via e-mail, and by subscribing you get a free copy of 51 Reasons Why Tim Tebow Is Better Than Superman (sign up form is in the top right corner of this site, you can’t miss it). Well today, I want to announce that Tebow Zone now has a new Facebook page and Twitter account! Pretty cool, huh?

These social media sites give fans of Tim Tebow (and this fan site) a place to hang out at chat. The Facebook page currently has a big picture of Tim on the cover of SI … as we move closer to the NFL season we will be converting that, along with everything else over to a Denver Broncos theme. It should be a lot cleaner and more organized. I feel like this current design is a mess.

I don’t want to make any promises, but Tebow Zone should ready to launch the Broncos redesign next week. I’m pretty excited for the transformation.

Looking For Help

Tebow Zone is looking for an additional contributor to this blog. Those of you that have been following Tebow Zone for the last 3 years know that I’ve been the only poster here. It was very easy for me because I was a student at UF, live in Florida and could watch every single Florida Gator game. Now that Tim Tebow has moved on to Denver it’s not as easy for me to keep track of everything that is going on in Colorado. Once we hit the season, I’ll be able to bring you a lot more info because the games will be televised.

If you live in the Denver area or follow Broncos football, I’d love to bring you on board to help post here. I’d be looking for only 1-2 post a week with updates on OTAs, Training Camp, etc. I’d like to find someone for the long term. Compensation will be discussed with only people serious about posting.

New Tebow Zone Design

I spent some time this morning working on a new design for Tebow Zone. The previous one was like 2-3 years old – I’ve pretty much had it on here since Day 1. There were some things I really liked about the old design and some thing that I didn’t … like how it was only 800px wide. It’s freaking 2010 now, time to have a wide site.

This new design also opens up the opportunity for me to change easily change the color scheme once Tim Tebow gets drafted by an NFL team. We’ll still talk Gators when he’s involved with something for UF, but once Tim moves to the NFL our focus will shift to him as a player in that league.

You can still find all your favorite things here at Tebow Zone, it just might take you a minute to locate them. I’m still adding some features that are missing – like the Eye Black link isn’t up yet as of writing this, and I don’t have the polls up either. Over the next few days I’ll get everything online.

Please take a look and let me know if you like the new design or if I should go back to the drawing board. I welcome your comments and critiques.

Help Me Find a Song

It’s not often that a post I make will be a request to the readers, but I’m in dire need here! Yesterday morning, I heard a Tim Tebow song on the radio (it was from 1010XL). It’s a song I’ve never heard before and was freakin’ hilarious. They said the artist is a guy named “Arrow” or “Aero”. I checked the radio stations website and even e-mailed them, but had no luck.

I really want to get the song in mp3 format and have it on this website for the readers to listen to and download. If you have any information on the Tim Tebow song, please contact me.
