Pajo Since when does the Man of Steel need a backup? I expect Tebow to take 100% of the snaps the entire season. Anything less would prove he’s not a deity.
Nonetheless, Meyer feels that for the sake of the other Quarterbacks on the team, that he needs to name a backup. A few days ago, freshman Cam Newton was given that role.
Newton has some very big shoes to fill. Following a great man is a difficult task. I just hope Newton has half the stones Tebow does.
