Yesterday afternoon the Gator Nation was buzzing when reports came out that Tim Tebow was back at practice, in full pads. Tim was limited to non-contact (obviously) and did not participate in all the drills.

“Our medical team has advised us that Tim has been cleared to return to practice in a limited and controlled environment,” Meyer said. “We have followed every protocol for his clearance to return to limited practice and will continue to follow the medical protocols before he is cleared to play in a game or practice again.”

Keep in mind though that just because the doctors cleared him for non-contact practices doesn’t mean they will clear him for the game. It is a good sign however for Tim if he wants to play on Saturday. The No. 1 Florida Gators will play the No. 4 LSU Tigers on Saturday night in Baton Rouge. It will be a tough game with or without Tim.
